Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Spanora ("we", "us", or "our") operates spanora.ai. Spanora helps you understand what your AI agents do, why they make decisions, and what it costs — with visibility into agent behavior, costs per user, and every LLM call and tool invocation. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

We collect your email address, which is required for authentication via magic link sign-in.

Telemetry Data

We store traces and spans that you send to Spanora via the OTLP protocol. This telemetry data may include prompts, LLM outputs, tool call details, model names, token counts, cost data, agent names, and session, user, or organization identifiers.

Important: Spanora does not control what data you include in your telemetry. You may inadvertently send personally identifiable information (PII), confidential information, or sensitive content within prompts and outputs. You are solely responsible for ensuring appropriate data is sent to the Service.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you interact with the Spanora dashboard, including page views and feature usage, to improve the Service.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Storing and displaying your traces and spans in the Spanora dashboard
  • Authenticating your account and sending magic link emails
  • Improving and optimizing the platform
  • Providing customer support
  • Communicating important updates about the Service

4. Telemetry Data Responsibilities

Telemetry data is provided by you and may contain information about your end-users or other third parties. With respect to personal data contained within telemetry:

  • You act as the data controller for any personal data within your telemetry
  • Spanora acts as a data processor — we store and display the data you send
  • You are responsible for obtaining any necessary consents from your end-users before including their data in telemetry
  • You are responsible for redacting PII and sensitive information before sending data to Spanora
  • Spanora does not inspect, filter, or redact the content of telemetry data

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal data or telemetry data to third parties. We may share information in the following circumstances:

  • With third-party infrastructure providers that help us operate the Service (e.g., cloud hosting, database services)
  • When required by law, regulation, or legal process
  • To protect the rights, safety, or property of Spanora, our users, or the public

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption for all communications, magic link authentication (eliminating password-related vulnerabilities), secure cloud storage, and limited access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

  • Account data is retained while your account is active
  • Telemetry data is retained according to applicable retention policies
  • You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us

8. Your Rights

  • Access and update your account information
  • Delete your account
  • Request export of your data
  • Request deletion of your telemetry data

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].

9. Cookies

Spanora uses essential cookies only, for session management and authentication state. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

10. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed and stored in countries other than your own. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your data to these countries, which may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
